Account Deletion

At La Canasta CR, we value your privacy. If you decide to stop using our platform, we offer two simple ways to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

1. In-App Deletion

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the mobile app:

  1. Open the LA Canasta app.
  2. Go to the Profile or Settings tab.
  3. Select the Manage Account option.
  4. Tap on Delete Account at the bottom of the list.
  5. Confirm your decision.

Note: This action is immediate and irreversible.

2. Web / Email Request

If you no longer have access to the app or prefer to request deletion this way, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Steps to follow:

  1. Send an email to: support@lacanastacr.com
  2. Use as subject: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include the email address associated with your account.

Our team will process your request within 48 to 72 business hours. You will receive a confirmation once the process is complete.

3. What data is deleted?

When processing your account deletion, we permanently remove the following data from our servers:

  • Profile info: name, email, and profile image.
  • Generated content: your shopping lists, saved recipes, and meal plans.
  • Preferences: custom settings and dietary restrictions.

Important: Billing data and subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Deleting your account in our App does not automatically cancel an active subscription; you must manage it from your device settings.
